Our History

Founded in 1980 by David R. Dennis and Daniel L. Dennis, Dennis Steel, Inc. has grown from 6 employees since its inception to approximately 100 employees today. Dennis Steel is ranked as the third largest steel fabrication and erection subcontractor in Texas in the 2009 ranking of Top Specialty Contractors by Texas Construction magazine, a McGraw-Hill Company.

Over the past 30 years Dennis Steel has developed an excellent reputation as a turnkey structural steel fabrication and erection contractor. Dennis Steel takes great pride in satisfying its customers' needs and has worked with most of the major Central Texas general contractors for many years as a result of our commitment to our craft and excellent workmanship. Dennis Steel has significantly expanded its industrial steel division over the past few years, and now serves the oil and natural gas services sector throughout the United States.
